Dancing since age 6, Jessica Saund is a Professional Ballerina with American Ballet Theatre in New York. She has performed all the major ballets in Europe, London, Australia, Japan, China, and the US. Her early career began with an artistic scholarship to the Kirov Academy of Ballet. She began her professional career with Washington Ballet, was selected to dance with Le Jeune Ballet de France in Paris, and then The English National Ballet in London. She is now with ABT in New York City. Jessica has won a gold medal in International ballet competition.
Jessica has also modeled for Barney’s New York, Vogue, Glamour, YSL, Bloch Ballet, and has performed as a Guest Artist with several US ballet companies. Passionate about romantic ballets and classical music, her favorite composer is Frederick Chopin. Jessica as also an active supporter of Ocean Conservation, especially the preservation of Sharks.
This year she premièred at the Hudson Valley Dance Festival., performing a new choreography, Endlos, by Marcelo Gomez.
